Do I need an appointment to shop at Luna?

Yes; appointments are required to shop our bridal collection. We  offer individualized attention for brides via private appointments Friday-Monday. Take advantage of our online scheduler to book!

Please note that we cannot accommodate trying on bridal dresses without a scheduled appointment. This is so that we can fully focus on providing you the care and attention we have become known for!


When should I start shopping for my wedding dress?

We usually recommend beginning to shop about a year out from your wedding, so that you have time to explore options without pressure. most of our designers have about a 6 month production time, so ordering around 9 months out from your wedding is ideal - although we can often accommodate shorter timelines if necessary.


What sizes do you carry?

Our bridal samples are mostly size 8-12. We have a few size 18 wedding dress samples, as well. Most of our bridal designers offer sizing up to 20+.


What is the price range of your dresses?

Our bridal collections fall between $2,000-$8,000, with most falling between $2,500-$3,500. You can explore our designers individually for more specific pricing information.


How many guests can I bring to my appointment?

We recently relocated to a cozy, intimate space. While we know there are many people that you want to include in your wedding planning, we do have limited room for your guests. We can accommodate 2-4 of your most trusted advisers, which will also help you maintain a clear vision of your personal style and keep the focus on you!


What can I expect from this whole shopping-for-a-wedding-dress-thing?

Your first shopping appointment at Luna will include a private 90 minute dress up session with a bridal stylist, where you will explore our selection and try on wedding dress samples. You don’t have to know in advance what you’re looking for, as the point of this is to help you figure that out!

When you choose your wedding dress with us, we'll take your measurements and order the closest dress size to be made, according to your designer’s size chart. A 50% deposit is required to place your order, with the balance being due when you pick your dress up. Once your dress arrives (generally 4-6 months later), you'll come back in for a quick & easy follow up appointment to pick up your gown and do final inspections. We will then provide referrals to local seamstresses, who will do any necessary alterations like hem & bustle, and fine-tuned fittings.


Do you carry Bridesmaid or Mother of the Bride/Groom dresses?

We do not. We are currently focusing our attention on providing the best in non-traditional wedding dresses and accessories to Pittsburgh’s boldest brides.
